Cancellations, No Shows & Rescheduling
Your appointment is reserved just for you. If you are no longer able to make it or need to reschedule, I ask for a MINIMUM of 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will incur a $25 cancellation fee if I am unable to fill your appointment space. If you do not show up to an appointment without consulting me, you will be charged for the FULL AMOUNT of your booked service. These fees are to be paid IMMEDIATELY and you will not be able to book any further appointments at The Lacquer Lounge until this has been paid. I totally understand that emergencies and events out of our control do happen and will try my best to accommodate for this where necessary. Please also note I do often run to a tight schedule. If you are late to an appointment there is no guarantee I will be able to complete your booked service, and the service may be adapted to ensure I am able to maintain the quality of your service and remain on time for other clients. Arriving to your appointment 15 minutes late or more will result in the ‘no show’ fee being the full amount of what your booked service was.
Guarantee’s & Repairs
All services The Lacquer Lounge offers are guaranteed for at least ONE WEEKS wear. If before this time frame is up your manicure breaks, chips or cracks I will repair this for free, providing you have followed ALL of the correct aftercare advice. Please make contact if this does happen as soon as possible. If you contact me later than this one week time frame the guarantee policy is no longer valid and you will be charged for your repair accordingly. The Lacquer Lounge runs to a tight schedule and will always strive to fit everyone in for repairs, but sometimes this may not be able to happen, such as in my busiest month of December during the Christmas & New Year season.
Sickness
Please do not come to your appointment if you are feeling unwell, it would be best for us both if you rescheduled your appointment when you are feeling better. Being a one-woman show at The Lacquer Lounge I can’t afford to get sick. I would much rather reschedule your one appointment, than get sick myself and have to reschedule a week’s worth of appointments.
Children in the Salon
For Health & Safety reasons The Lacquer Lounge is a child free salon. The salon environment is full of hazards, both chemicals (such as raw plastics and solvents) and other hazards such as cables and shelving. It is highly unsafe for a partially supervised/unsupervised child to be in an environment with such hazards, although not highly likely, accidents can happen easily and quickly (such as pulling a cord/swallowing something) and that is a risk I am not willing to take.
